About Our Campaign
As summer unfolds, we reflect on 2025 with deep gratitude for your role in uplifting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We started the year facing uncertainty around federal funding, preparing for tough changes to the social safety net. Times are hard—BUT, with your help, we continue to find the light.
We’re offering more creative services than ever, from emergency shelter to permanent housing. Thanks to the Rasmuson Foundation, our shelter kitchen was renovated into a space of comfort and connection. And when it was closed, the community stepped up—providing meals every single night.
Your support is essential to our mission. With your generous contribution to AWARE, you will help ensure that survivors in our community experience love, safety, and care. Together, we can create transformative change and make a lasting impact in their lives.
All gifts received during AWARE’s Annual AWAREness Campaign will be used to provide emergency shelter, warm meals (cooked in our new kitchen!), transportation, and other critical resources to those in Juneau who need it most.
